A supernova is an explosion in the space caused due to the death of a star and leads to the birth of another star.
It goes back to the Big Bang theory, Scientist say that even our sun was born due to a supernova.
According to the scientists another supernova is going to take place far away in the universe (some 1000 light years) and they hope that they succeed in getting the images for the first ever supernova in the history of mankind.Wait for that time (fingers crossed)
